mailboxes including you main mailbox and how many messages are in
each mailbox. You will also see a menu bar where you can compose

Member Web Sites (My World)
Using a combination of templates and content widgets generates the
member pages at Hutworld. When you create a new page, you can select
a template that will determine the look and feel of your web page.
Once the page is created, you can add content to it by selecting
a type of content widget from the 'Tasks' menu.
When you click on My World you will go to a login screen where you
will need to enter your username and password (which you created
when you first signed up for membership). Once successfully logged
in you will be redirected to your homepage. As soon as you access
your first page (the one created when you sign-up for an account),
you will see the following greeting:
Welcome to your new Home Page at Hutworld!
This message is only visible to you and will disappear as soon as
you add some content to the page. Any visitors to this page will
see a blank (under construction) page until the content is made
visible. To add content, click on the Tasks menu in the management
(or edit) bar and choose a content widget from the 'Add Content'
section. You can create articles, calendars, image galleries and
a variety of other content types. For more information about how
to build your site, click help on Hutworld's main menu bar. For
more detail about how each widget operates, click help on the orange
management bar.
You will notice an orange management (or edit) bar
(some browsers may not show the orange color) across the top of
the page that states whether you are previewing or live, your username
and what page you are viewing. This edit bar will also contain a
Tasks Menu, which is where you choose the various editing
tasks. This is where you begin to add content to your web site by
using widgets.
Each content type or widget is designed to allow you create web
pages without having to be familiar with the complexities of HTML.
You just fill out the form and save or commit the changes. If you
want a more complex design and you have HTML knowledge, there is
a raw_html widget that allows you to paste html into the page from
another program.
Very Important! Please note: When you add content blocks or edit
them, you see the changes while you are in preview mode. You will
see a choice to 'commit' or 'cancel your changes'. This allows you
to preview it before publishing it to the world. To toggle between
the published (live) version and your working (preview) version
of your page, use the task menu to select queued or live content.
If you do not like the changes, choose cancel changes, if you approve
of the changes, click commit and your changes will be live.
You may also choose to add additional pages to your site by choosing
new page under the Tasks menu. Any new page you create will appear
in the button bar of the current page. You fill in the on-screen
form to set the title and button name for your new page. When you
are finished, the page will be created and your web browser will
go to your new page to allow you to start adding content.
If you are having trouble, you can go to Help in the management
bar where our Help
Guide describes in detail, the creation of pages.
